1 picture speaks a thousand words, too many pictures…..turn words into crap.

I had the intention of expressing my feeling towards this matter for quite some time now, and I wouldn’t have done this if not for SOME ppl. Just wanted you to be ready for the fact that this post may not sounds like my usual post about my day but more of my opinion on smth.

We have a lot of internet stuff these days where we could use to keep in contact with our friends. Things like Friendster, Facebook,Hi5, andofcourse we also have MSN. And often to help people knowhow we are doing we include photos of ourselves in these sorta applications. But recently I’ve just felt that is no longer the purpose of those “photo placing” areas.

In the female world, the act of self picture taking has risen to a whole new level. Nearly all the girls these days cannot control their urge to take pictures of themselves whenever a camera is nearby. An example of how excessive this can go can be seen by the many friendster accounts where the person’s photo gallery has about 10 pictures of themselves, with the SAME BACKGROUND, SAME OUTFIT, clearly indicating that the pictures were taken over and over again. I can understand if you’re trying to pick the best looking picture of yourself to have posted. but why the hell do people post ALL of them up!!!?! From the way I see it , I can interprete a few possibilities:

1. The girl involved believes herself to be extremely hot and decides to post countless pictures of herself to show others how hot she is and how lucky you’d be to get to know her.

2. The girl involved is seriously love deprived and hopes that by doing this she will soon have truckloads of men adding her in friendster or facebook or smth. Then she’d get the extreme attention from all the guys. Non to mention she would be able to show off to her friends the many guys she has in her friends list(with probably 75% of those guys she hardly knows)

Also there are several things I couldn’t understand with  the art of photo taking as well……

1. As I understand, the female bathroom is 1 place that could easily get very congested, especially after a movie or smth. I have also understood the fact that public bathrooms are for you to……”settle ur business” or freshen up. I have never realised that bathrooms are also tourists attractions to most females. Why do girls have the such a great attraction to bathrooms that they couldn’t resists taking a photos of their reflection in the mirror. Perhaps my understanding of women is very shallow but it seems almost as if girls have a particular photo album where they would collect photos of themselves in different bathroms. Ahh there’s the one from XYZ shopping mall…..and this is the one from ABC airport…….oh and Here’s the one I took from EFG restaurant.

2. Why do girls do such peculiar poses when taking self potraits? yes I understand the fact that its about “acting cute”, but if u are cute already I don’t see why you need to “act cute”, and if you aren’t cute……..why are you trying to be something that you’re not?even if the picture does make you look cute, don’t tell me you expect to keep that pose throughout your date.

3. Whoever started the thought that tongue sticking-out was a good pose for a self potrait has seriously some very serious issues. The tongue is meant to be kept in the mouth, it has no purpose being stuck out like that for others….. I mean, am I missing something now? is it a crucial factor for a girl to show their tongue to people to get to know people? what happends when the tongue is too short? or too long? I think I’m missing a guide book somewhere…….

I just want to make clear that not all the girls are like this. Although I would say this is a growing disease, I understand that girl like to “capture” the moment of their youth. in about 20 or 30 years down the road looking abck at how pretty you were…..I get all that. But there is  LIMIT to everything. a few drinks of alcohol a day actually does the body good, similiraly a little vanity very now and then never hurt anyone. However I feel that when done in excess…… it begins to encourage over-self-confidence in a girl and from there comes the bitchiness…….and also this over-self confidence might even lead to dissapontment and depression.

Damn titles are getting annoying.

couldn’t exactly figure out a good title for the stuff I’m gonna write in. Mostly because I didn’t really have a idea of what I want to say. Just writing along as I think.

Major issues recently, my exams are over once again!! and I am free to rule my computer once again unlimitedly. Hopefully this time results can turn out better, I can’t exactly say i answered very well, but at least I wasn’t forced to the situation where I couldn’t write (or crap) anything out.So with exams over and 2 weeks holiday to look forward to……not really sure what I’m about to do…. Moment I got home already started to bond with my comp completely once again.altho I believe sydney’s weather may be having an effect on her.  Winter has passed and there ain’t no super cold temperature to cool her down. My gaming performance became slower and as I wondered why my keyboard surface was so hot, reached below her and had a feel of how severe it was. Darn she’s literally burning up, with the sort of intense heat I was feeling I was wondering how all tat plastic didn’t melt ever after so long.Had to do some modifications to laptop’s ventilation. placed 4 little candies below each corner or lappy so that at least some air can get down there and help cool her off.

Huihui and felicia will be here tomorrow, kinda excited. and yet little confused. See hui hui ’s only gonne be here till the 22nd, and I think phooi sin’s only coming somewhere on the 19th…..so…..that sorta gives us only 3 days where all 3 of them are in sydney, so it sorta boild down to 2 scenarios,

a) take huihui and felicia around sydney when they come 1 round, then phooi sinc ome go another round same thing (wastes money)

b) let huihui and felicia wait around in sydney doing nothing until phooi sin comes(huihui and felicia feeeling they might as well not come at all with all the sitting around doing nothing-ness)

even tho so, still excited to see huihui, waited very long to pet her head once again, hee hee. Yea if u know me U’d know ow much i like to pet heads…….just don’t get that much oppotunity to do it other ppl……..anyhoo….. go word of frens leaving penang for the upper regions of the world soon, shouldn’t exactly feel very bothered about it and yet I do…….wondering if it might be because its an indications that there’d be less people left when I go home?

facebook is  starting to grow on me, been constantly usng the force to go around choking or pushing ppl to gain influence points, altho this new knowledge thing is getting on my nerves. also the warbook application is seriously making me even more addicted, the only downside is the server is really slow. Gave up on the pet(fluff) game pretty much, cause while it took me like 1 month make my pet’s speed go up to 200+, only took other people 10 days to reach my speed, some even double!!! so duwan play dee……always lose mia\pif

Kyloon’s moved in to his new house now, I had initally made plans to be their 4th housemate, however under closer observations of the house, seems like 4’s gonna be a crowd, kyloon had overexaggerated the greatness of the house to me, what was said to be a really big and worth it house didn’t turn out to be that great after all. 3 bedrooms it claims, but apparently the third bedroom is not even enough to put a table and bed, sheesh.

I have so much in mind for the end of the year……its a 3 month long holiday and I intend to make it really worth my while. Planned to travel around. Jieyang told plans about travelling Europe, which really interests me, parents had long before gave the green lights for that. Also beck in july when I was home told parents about seeing beijing 2008 stadiums during year end as well, they also gave green lights……I wonder……is that a “take one don’t take the other one” green light or a “take both” sorta green lights? hmm…… recently been thinking about going to sabah maybe with cze as well……. Haihz so much places I want to go…… althought another problem is finding people to go with you, and I believe, that may very well prove to be quite the problem too…….

The new iPod Touch looks just so darn sexy(I know some people are just trying to be stubborn with their weird excuses), actually gave me one of those “moments” where I intended to sell off my old iPod and get this new one. However,  don’t think a second hand iPod would sell so well after all, even tho its just 1 generation behind the iPod touch and its only been used for about 7 months. Steve Jobs is losing it, making his new generation of iPhone already( what happened to new versions every 2 years?), and with a consequence too. With new iPhones coming, the stupid guy reduced current iPhone prices by 200USD. Evidently caused a stir among iPhone buyers. Just like that the guy gets so worried he issues a public apoogy and gives all iPhone buyers a 100USD Apple voucher. Now does that sound like osmething Bill Gates would have done?\heh

I suppose this is a relatively long post already eh? don’t really know what else to say seriously. Hope I’ll be able to update again. If I don’t its probably because I’ having so much fun I’m neglecting the blog again. Its sometimes feels more like a homework than a place to express.
