Sydney once more.

well looks like you guys didn’t have to suffer through that many episodes of Holiday after all. Turns out holiday wasn’t as fun as I though. Turns out the period of time when I come back was a little too late, and many of my friends had already begun to go back to school. Ben has left for Melbourne less than a week after my return.Phooi Sin as well as whole bunch of Monash KL-ers have returned in less than 2 weeks since I’ve returned. Hean also returned just days after 1 returned. It seems almost as if I’ve become something people actually want to avoid these days. Even Jieyang and Shi Lin whoa re on a 3 months holiday decided to go play around somewhere else, only to return on the day i go back to Sydney. Yes, in the many generations of friend-products, it is very obvious that the Xiang Jie series has become obsolete.

Got like a freakin 47 for my previous med exam. For those of you who are extremely amazed to see this number, I jsut want you to know that I’m sorta surprised myself. Thought I realised that I did not study a lot for this exam, spending most of my time watching TV series and then showing off the long list of them afterwards, I’ve never expected to get a grade so bad(and you thought you results were bad eh yi mei?). On the bright side is Medicine faculty people seem to believe in second chances and have closed 1 eye and considered my grade sufficient to pass. So i guess its about time I put this chance t good use. Eh wait, what’s this 5 seasons of smallville doing in my hard drive?………………. yikes.

Getting the borderline marks of failing feels really different. Espiecially when all your life you’ve never been the worst of the worst. Sure there was that time in primary where I got last in class all through the year, but then when you looked at the whole school of ppl who took the same exam, all those ppl in the last few classess who scored worse than you, there’s still that silver lining. This was so different, no matter how you looked at it, everyone in the medicine faculty would definitely have done better than you, set aside the very very very few people who failed. Definitely don’t wanna be that guy again.

Well I’m back in Sydney now anyways, started first day at school already. Being back was quite a surprise for me. It felt extremely cold being back here. I’m not too sure was it due to the fact that its winter, or the fact that I spent 3 weeks in hot hot Malaysia that made me feel so cold. But then I had expected the extreme cold whatever the reason may be. What really surprised me was how homesick I felt this time. I thought seeing as how this was the second time doing this I wouldn’t have felt that emo leaving this time, and yet every moment my mindwas ever allowed to be left empty, thoughts of being home and with friends just starts to rush in and I feel so depressed straight away. that’s usualy when i decide its time I found something else to keep my mind loaded before I start crying out of nowhere.(no cries no far yet, hopefully stays that way). Sien do you think this post’ll match eveline’s?

Also like to mention that Bridge to Terabithia wasn’t that bad a show. Despite how many people upon their first impression from the trailers would immediately relate it to a “Narnia” sort of story, I managed to watch it after Jieyang told me that it was not bad. And personally, I felt it was really quite a touching movie, does sorta remind of myself when I was young(set aside the fact that I didn’t grow up in a farm, I’ve never been bullied and I’ve never had such a cute girl for a friend before), always keeping myself entertained by my own imagination. Ah yes and also liked to point out that the girl in the show really looks pretty. hee hee. Just had to point that matter out.

Think that’s all for now. Keep blogging my friends, seems to be a greater way of knowing how you’ve been doing than some fancy contraption called friendster/facebook. despite that, seeing as how the majority are moving that way, may take time someday to get that done as well. And rememeber, just because I am slacking with my blogging doesn’t mean you get to, after all, I’m the one with 5 season’s of Smallville, what’ve you got?

Holidays Part 5?

Well these few days really getting less and less interesting dee. Quite a large pile of friends still in school. some RMIT ppl wanna go back liao, some Monash people wanna go back liao(some, if not all, I’ve only managed to meet once). so now I’m getting lonlier and lonlier at home. haihz…….suddenly feelt like nothing to do.

Just like to take this opportunity to shout out to jane(whoever you are) to please return jamie her Smallville DVDs so that I can borrow from her to rip and bring back to Sydney.

Despite the sad boring days. Today was quite the interesting one. Woke up at like 9 am in the morning to return to clhs. Met up with bunch of ex-prefects together to go get SPM cert.(Actually some of them just came to take it, I came to get stuff certified). Met up with some form 6 friends. Still very pissed that nai fook didn’t stand up to take position for head prefect……….*shakes head*. Looking around we found prefect’s room unlocked(haihz these days……..), apparently lock was so broken the door couldn’t be locked anymore. So since the door opened, at it was left “unguarded” like that,  we thought might as well go and “keep watch for intruders” . Spent a lot of time talking about the days we use to tuang kelas by hiding in this exact same room, how we planned the incredible prefect’s day, looking through the pass offence log books, not to mention finally spilling the beans about how some of us were involved in “explosive events”. We laughed, sweared and laughed some more as we looked back at our past.  After that went to pay short visit to Form 6 see a few ppl before we left.

Then after leaving, Kyloon came over my place to set up vista on my PC. Installation went along quite well. Dad was really annoyed by the loud CPU fan on the PC so we brought it down to 1 stop to buy new CPU fan. Fan cost us like 150 ringgit!! but I feel definitely worth the money lah, there’s literally no sounds coming out aymore, only noises you can hear are the ones from the graphics card. As I said, Vista installation went better than I expected. Scored a 4.1 on the “user friendly” index( I can’t believe my laptop only scored 3.3!! swts). Spent most of the day just installing software after software. In fact , as I type this blog now, the PC’s still downloading nearly 2GB+ worth of automatic updates. Yeah, my vista is pirated, and it takes automatic updates!!

Well that’s pretty much my day for today. Harry potter is coming out soon both book and movie. I mentioned in my nickname the part3s are no good. But I was told Part 4s are good. SO here’s hoping for Harry Potter part 4. Also recently just preordered the 7th book (deathly hallows?) which is coming out on the 21st. I have to race there in the morning to get it, and leave at night.  Also bought another book called the Alchemyst, sounded like a good book, thought I might bring that book, Harry potter 7 and hean’s wheeel of time over to read in sydney on the count that I won’t have as big a collection of TV series to watch this time. Plus many of you are getting pissed that I’ve watched so many TV series the past 6 months.

Hope I haven’t slacked off too long yi mei, dun scold me…………….

Holidays Part 4?

I really wish I could write some other title but I guess you’ll have to settle with this now. Its starting to grow on me already so really can’t do much.

Today was a much longer day I’d say. Went to INTI in the morning to meet up wth some old HSC friends. Also went to meet chem teacher(since I’m in the same college as her son, she figured maybe I could help her get some stuff to her son).Didn’t really stay in INTI very long, apparently you really don’t have much to do there. Went to eat lunch at Unity restaurant, the nice little coffeeshop we used to eat lunch at during our INTI days. Pineapple rice still as good as before.

After lunch went to Queensbay to kill some more time. Met up with serene working at borders. Man that girl’s hair so darn long and straight now……… Yeah basically jsut jalan jalan look here and look there. Apaarently nobody was interested to try out “”ICE”" WORLD’s “Wheelie Skating Ring”.Really spent quite some time in the end apprently(think we spent nearly 3 hours + there) I know it sounds like we did nothing, but really was fun for me guys. At 4. Left with Phooi Sin, gone “friend-hopping”. Went to 1 Stop bowling arena play bowling with another group of frens. Apparently these daysHean just loves to invite girls nia. guys to girls ratio will always be less than 1. Bowling was alright. Although I seriously think Jieyang, despite the countless times he gutter-balled, still feel the guy is holding back lah, no way he can play that bad mia lah. Other than that everything was fine lah. Everyone pretty much sucked considering none of us reached over 100 marks.  Also Shih Yi who was like second last in the first game became 1st place in second round. and Sien who was like 2nd in first round gone all the way to the bottom on the second round. Its amazing how much difference a second round makes………….

That’s pretty much my today, hope you’re satisfied now Yi Mei. Don’t feel guilty, finally somebody’s there to push me to blog. I had the intention in me since day 1 but jsut couldn’t get myself to do it.

Holidays Part 3?

Well it seems I’m not as creative with the titles as I thought I was. With any luck, i’ll have 21 episodes of Holidays. and maybe you guys can look forward to season 2 and 3 and maybe 4 of Holidays late in the year

Well today’s main objective was to get all the TV series that I’ve managed to loot back from aussie and have them distributed to my fellow frens. Transfers were going on all day. Oh yea all this conducted at Jieyang’s house by the way. Wee Hean’s got a whole load of stuff. I thnk Ben’s got alos a large chunk of it too. Sadly that the Host (Jieyang) didn’t manage to have a chance to loot. Also Fern and Sien forgot to bring HDD. Ppl now can drive dee make it seems so simple to just drive home and get the HDD.

Oh yea, made quite an efort to promote the Chaser’s War on Everything to the guys. Really sorry guys, I swear the episodes are much funnier than the ones I shown you. Also I think in the process I sorta bored Sien sampai tidur-ed while doing the promotion. She’ll probably tell you stuff like how she slept little late the night before and how early she woke up the day after but yea don’t believe her, this is my blog so my words count more.

Anyways later shi lin came over also jsut to meet up. (if only for once May Chin could jsut come over to “meet up”) played the “weight game” for a while measuring everyone’s weight. Surprising facts include Ben being heaviest among the guys and shi lin weighting mere 42 was it? Oh yea this is probably one of the best chance for you to actually see to exactly what extent has shi lin “enslave” jieyang. The woman’s got the guy peeling mangosteens for her…………..

Jieyang still has 4 dogs. I’d add the word “nice” in front of dogs but then that black one was jsut plain fierce. 2 of the 4 were able to actually escape the premises by sliding between the gate bars, ain’t that an interesting trick? Well again i think that’s all for now. Just realised we still haven’t really had a proper meal together eh? jsut seems to me that we always seem to do that.

Oh yea at night met up with the guys again at subaidah to play some cards. Apparently the subaidah ppl don’t really like the idea of us doing that so ha to resort to plain talking again. cracked a few lame jokes and that was pretty much it lah. Hav to say tho, either I forgotten the taste of the drnks at subaidah or subaidah as increased the sugar content in air bandung.

Holidays Part 2?

So yea I’m back, wanted to get serious business of my chest first so figured the first place to go was CLHS to get my SPM certificate and long long long long long long long last. Had intentions to see some form 6 friends but unfortunately some stuff came up. And when i say “stuff” I meant that the hokkien mee I had for breakfast was bullying my digestive system. Felt so bad that ben has to send me home jsut to “relieve” myself. Well after that we went to gurney, planning to catch Transformers. Show was up at 2 30, so we had lunch at food court and burnt time at MPH and Popular. Nothing much happened really. But then Really can’t emphasise to you exactly how great Transformers was. I mean the way the made the transformers look, the transformation process………..ah, jsut perfect. There was jsut enough of everything. Was really surprised that even my female friends have found it really good, after all these transformers thingy are so………male -linked? But nonetheless again I have to remind all of you, WATCH TRANSFORMERS.

That’s basically the main thing about today. I still haven’t watched Fantastic Four and Ocean’s 13 whcih are soon going off the cinemas so I’m really pissed by that cause its very likely that everybody else has watched it which means I’ll have to watch it alone.

Holidays

Well holidays have arrived so I guess its time I wrote a little bit on what’s been happening, since after all I did say I would blog after exams.

So let’s start with exams. 28th of june, went by faster than you’d think, but also harder than anyone could have anticipated. Can’t stop hearing the words Screwed, Fucked, Shit, Damn and the list goes on. But that’s that.

1st July:Packed my bags and prepared to leave 5am Sydney time to go to airport.Over at airport, it would seem that ol Singapore airline has once again overbooked their tickets and are now looking for volunteers to give up their seat. Since I’ll be having 21 days of holiday anyways, I’d figure 20 days wouldn’t really be much of a difference. After all, rewards looked so tempting, aside from upgrading your tickets for your next flight(which is jsut 3 hours away), they’ll compensate 500sing dollars for you as well as give you ticket upgrade voucher valid for the next year. SO ofcoz I volunteered. Immediately the guy gave me 15AUD voucher to get some breakfast. Only coffee bean open at this time, so go there get a few muffins and coffee lah. Nothing to do, luckily kyloon left me his PSP to play with while he went back earlier. play PSP play play play, and then suddenly my whole body started feeling all tingly,its almost as if I jsut couldn’t sit still, had that really big rush to wanna jsut run and run and run. My guess to what’s happening to me is the caffeine in the coffee. Must have had like a really big dose tog et me going like that since that’s never happened before. So in the end turned out they didn’t need volunteers(at least not that many) so they kicked me back to economy. But then they did give complementary chocolates for my troubles. On the flight back, Singapore Airlines ppl gave this ice cream as dessert after lunch. Darn the thing was so cold that the moment I sicked my teeth into the ice cream, I could never remove them again, that was how cold the ice cream was. had to slowly lick my lips bit by bit to get my lips free again

SO okay I don’t wanna make a lengthy post so I’ll break up the stuff to different posts.
